The Lombard
Elegant, cozy and flattering are words that typically don't live close together, but that's the perfect description for The Lombard! A sleeveless, soft v-neck top cinches in slightly above the natural waist to make the wearer look and feel their best. A little peek-a-boo split of fabric hangs open the hem and provides a flirty and beautiful fabric movement. Designed to enhance the classic hourglass shape, the decorative top stiching and inside French Seams are reminiscent of classic construction too!
The Lombard comes in two fabric options and four sizes. One fabric, gorgeous off white 100% Vietnam silk, the other a silky feeling blue sage with black and white floral print. Both are lined from the top of the shoulder to the elasticated waist. Without closures, the garment slides on over the head, making it a truly comfortable lounging top.

*The white silk tops have larger armholes, at roughly 2-3" wider than their blue sage counterparts.Color Options
1- Slightly off white, the 100% silk proves to have an exquisite luster and somewhat crinkled texture. Because the top part of the garment, from the shoulder seams to the waist, is completely lined, there is little risk of undergarments showing.
2. Black petaled flowers outlined in white dance across the blue sage background of this shiny fabric. It catches light in a way that creates depth and movement and photographs well.Fit Notes
The Lombard top is meant to appear to be draped from the top of the shoulders to the bottom of the hem, but sinched in at the waist for an elegant hourglass shape. Although the top section of the garment is lined, and there is true structure to the piece, it is not restricting in any way. The elastic sits under the bust, but slightly above the natural waist creating the illusion of a longer leg. There is a deeper V in the front of the garment, showing a tiny bit of cleavage depending on your bust measurements and makeup, and a more shallow V on the back of the piece.
From the navel to the hem, the material is left open, allowing a little skin to show through when the body is in movement. There is excess fabric from the elastic down, making it very flowy and the hip measruement unnecessary to note.
Please note, there are no closures on the garment and is put on by slipping over the head. If you are someone with wider shoulders, please see the measurement the waist elastic stretches to in order to acommodate your shoulder's width.Fabric Notes
Off white: The 100% pure Vietnam silk used is medium-bodied with a lovely drape. There is no stretch in the fabric itself. Purchased as deadstock fabric, The Lombard saved this amazing fabric from potentially ending up in a landfill (YAY!).
Patterned Material: The blue sage patterned material is a man-made material consisting of 50% Poleyster, 45% Viscose, and 5% Elastane. This is a lighter feeling fabric that feels SO silky and soft and has quite a bit of stretch, without comprimising the structure of the design. This fabric was purchased through an independent, woman-owned business in The Ukraine.
